Andy Nonaka

Bio:

Andy Nonaka received his PhD from UC Davis in 2007 in computational methods for non-Newtonian flows in complex device geometries. He was a Postdoc, then Research Scientist, and now Staff Scientist and Group Lead of the Center for Computational Sciences and Engineering at LBNL, where he works on computational methods for microelectronics and complex fluids on HPC platforms.  His recent contributions to microelectronics modeling include systems described by Maxwell's equations for electrodynamics, TDGL equations for ferroelectric devices, LLG equations for micromagnetics, superconductivity models, and coupled electrostatic / quantum transport models..
